As an alternative program of the Lethbridge School Division, Immanuel Christian Elementary School provides a unique program as the faith-based foundation, paired with the Alberta Program of Studies, supports opportunity for students to grow and learn through the lens of the Christian worldview. 

Immanuel Christian Elementary School offers full day Kindergarten in two different classes: Monday and Wednesday, or Tuesday and Thursday (and some Fridays). On the registration forms, please indicate your preference. Preference for days will be given on a first applied - first served basis. Final program offerings will be determined at a later date and communicated to families.

There is busing available for Kindergarten students, but is dependent on geographic availability.

NEW FAMILIES:

As an alternative program of Lethbridge School Division, registration is held, pending an ICS Society Board interview and approval for membership.  Please complete the following documents, which will be automatically submitted to the Society office. 

• Society Membership Application Form
• Pastoral Reference Form (please send this link to your church leader)
• Family & School Covenant

A $100 non-refundable application fee is required for all new memberships.  This can be paid by cash or cheque at the Society Office (802-6 Ave. N., Lethbridge) or by e-transfer to business@immanuelcs.ca, noting application fee in the message box.

CURRENT FAMILIES: 

If you are a Society member/family enrolling a new student, please fill in the 2024/25 Registration Forms. If you have any questions about kindergarten registration, please call the school at (403) 317-7860.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER YOU HAVE APPLIED?

Upon receipt of the completed Admissions Package, the documents will be reviewed the Society Executive Director, as well as the appropriate school Principal. Subsequent to these evaluations, we will then schedule your family for an interview with Society representatives. Final admissions decisions are made based on the documentation and your family meeting.

Upon approval of your application, you will be contacted by the Executive Director and receive an invoice from the Society office to arrange payment and busing.

NEW/CURRENT FAMILIES:

The school will contact you in regards to:

• Homeroom assignments.
• Selection of Option courses for each child in grades 6 to 9. 
• Course registration for each child in grades 10 to 12.
• Signing of various forms
  • Privacy Information Form
  • Course Registration Form (students in grades 10 to 12)
  • Acceptable Technology Usage Form (students in grades 6 to 12)
  • Lethbridge School Division Registration Form

FEES: Commencing 2023-2024, the school fee for Grades 1- 12 is $4,100 (excluding transportation) plus the membership fee of $250. If you already have a child or children at ICS, then the membership fee is included in the full school fees. NOTE: Membership, school, and transportation fees are per family and paid annually. Review all fees here.
